MARGINAL COLLECTION
The Marginália collection is our newest project, where we present 16 new creations with unique and experimental designs.
We use the term Marginália in honor of the Marginal movement in the 70s. A movement marked by its great artistic expression in the midst of dictatorship, at a time of great resistance.
Among the movement's great art manifestations, the one that caught our attention the most was the Marginal cinema. Our pieces were inspired by jewelry used in some works of the time.
The whole idea came about after we visited Cine Paissandu, an old cinema located in the center of São Paulo, which is now an abandoned parking lot.
Some of the films that inspired us were shown there and we were there with this incredible team reinterpreting them for the present day.
The collection reflects on the current cultural and political situation in our country, with the aim of preserving the memory of a time when Brazilian cinema was at its peak and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our culture.
